This styled shoot focused on winter bouquet ideas and if you aren’t following BUD + BLOOM yet, you should be! I absolutely love working with BUD + BLOOM, the talent and creativity from Nora is incredible. She is more than a florist – she’s a floral designer. She puts so much thought and passion into her designs. And thank you to the beautiful Megan (@mrsmeganbrown) for braving the cold for us and being such a lovely model.
For this winter bouquet, Nora was inspired by a close friend of hers. Here’s the story behind the bouquet from BUD + BLOOM.
I’m a firm believer in details making the design since details are often what make life a little sweeter and our love a little stronger.
Megan – the model, hair, and makeup artist for this shoot – is not only an incredibly talented beauty, but a gold hearted one too. I met Megan through her husband, Adam (@prohibitiontwopointzero) who lacks no ounce of kindness himself and is one of the most humble people I’ve ever met. He’s been invaluable in my cannabis growing journey and they both helped me on a day that was more difficult than they know.
When Adam found out Megan was going to be a part of this mini shoot, he sent me a message thanking me and telling me how excited he was to see his wife in her wedding dress again. (I know, right? 😭) Their love for each other is so inspiring that I thought it only right to incorporate him into the shoot somehow.
So, using white roses to speak to their generous and pure nature, and a bold amaryllis to signify the pride I feel for having them in my life, I shaped an A as a tip of the hat to them both. Suuuurprise!
Thank you Megan and Adam from the bottom of my sappy, forever grateful heart. I second guessed this design so much and at one point almost just bought you a card, but I hope these photos bring you as much warmth and happiness as you’ve brought me.
