17 – Lucky for us phase 2 of Alberta re-opening allowed us for more guests! Our original date from last summer had 108 guests attending.
Your top 3 best moments and why:
#1 – Getting married finally – after postponing and then having to downgrade our list, we were so happy to just have our day.
#2 -Sharing our day with people who are very special in our lives
#3 – Father/daughter dance – it was very important for both of us

Love Someone – Lukas Graham. The lyrics have such meaning to us.
Your top 3 favorite wedding details (cake, flowers, dress, band, etc.) and why:
#1 – my dress. Kevin loved it too. It made me so beautiful. I had tried on several before picking it. My hair and makeup was pretty great too.
#2 – our cake – inside was coconut and pineapple and it was sooo tasty
#3 – bouquets and flower arrangements at the ceremony. They were so beautiful
Any advice to those that are planning their wedding?
Don’t let others opinions get in the way of planning the day YOU both want. Go with the flow and really take the time to step back, breathe and take it all in as it goes by so fast.
We had to postpone, then downgrade and then reschedule our reception for next year. Lots of stress and tears over the last year but i couldn’t have asked for a more amazing day. It was so worth it.
Honeymoon:
Kevin surprised me with a mini-honeymoon to Emerald Lake Lodge. It was so great to just chill and enjoy our time together. We postponed our original Honeymoon until next year where we will go wine tasting in Spain and Italy.
