Such a beautiful day for Selena and Brad’s Cornerstone Theatre Wedding in Canmore. Everything was going great until it took a turn for the worst! During photos, at one point Selena’s Great Grandmother’s wedding band, their family heirloom, fell off of Selena’s finger! Immediately panic set in, and it felt like an impossible task to find. Rob searched through previous photos zooming in on her hands and was able to pinpoint a location where it was last on her finger. We all headed out to Quarry Lake park to start the search – luckily it was a big wedding party – one of the groomsmen found it in the grass!

Wedding theme and colours (explain the reason behind your decision):
Grey/Coral and rustic.
Brad and I had our second date camping in the mountains. Being outside is a passion of both of ours, and Canmore was the perfect mix of what we wanted. We both love the mountains and knew that’s where we wanted to be.
Brad loved the look of grey for the guys and I wanted a nice pop of colour we loved the mix of coral and grey.
Approximate number of wedding guests:
Your top moments and why:
Finding my Great Grandmother’s wedding band. We lost it while doing photos in quarry lake and I honestly never thought I’d see it again. It changed the mood of the day until one of the Groomsman found it laying on the path!
Wedding song, explain choice for song:
George Strait – I cross my heart
Brad and I had gone back and forth over picking our song for a long time. This was the first song we ever danced to together and the lyrics really rang true to us and our relationship.
