For Rachel & Beaudan’s wedding we headed out to the mountains to one of our favorite venues, Cornerstone Theatre. We started off the day with an intimate first look which was just filled with emotion, followed by another round of emotions at their stunning ceremony held at Quarry Lake Park in Canmore.

Wedding theme and colours (explain the reason behind your decision):
There really wasn’t any thought put into a theme or colours, we chose navy blue as our primary colour because blue is our favourite colour, and then built off that with what looked good.

Your top 3 best moments and why:
Beaudan’s favourite moment is when Rachel walked down the aisle. It was the moment we’ve been waiting for since starting to plan, and it was here!
Rachel’s favourite is the first look, be ause it was the only private moment in the whole day! Where we could be together for just us.
A favourite moment together is our send off, we had a huge send off with cheers and dancing and so much love! And it was all in the moment!
Wedding song, explain choice for song:
Take my hand by Emily Hackett. We were on our way camping and going through random YouTube songs when we came across it, it immediately brought tears to both our eyes and we knew it was our song!
Your top 3 favorite wedding details (cake, flowers, dress, band, etc.) and why:
Rachel: Wedding dress!! Simply because it was phenomenal ;).
Beaudan: Food! It was sooooo good! Fresh, and mouth watering, and mmmm!
Music! Our dj kept everyone engaged and played the best songs! I don’t think people ever stopped dancing
Any advice to those that are planning their wedding?
Both Beaudan and I decided early on that we wanted a no-stress wedding. So we just went with the flow of everything and didn’t stress about the flowers, or food, or anything. And it worked! Even when the bouquets started falling apart, we didn’t stress because we were there for eachother, not the flowers.
Honeymoon:
Vancouver Island! We slept, ate, and drank for 10 days and just relaxed. It was amazing!
