Julia & Dave – Spring Engagement Session in Canmore.

You know that feeling you get in spring – all the excitement and happiness you feel with flowers in bloom and summer right around the corner? It’s similar to the feeling of being engaged – excitement and warmth – and that’s what makes spring a great time for an engagement session. For Julia & Dave’s spring engagement session we headed out to Canmore. Spring is a unique time in the mountains – it can be really warm and still have snow peaked mountains.

One of our favorite things is when couples give all their energy to a session – and these two definitely did that. We had so much fun and it was filled with laughs. Here are a few words from the couple:

How did you meet?

We met back in 2011 when we were both working at Lazia. I had such a huge crush on him. He would only work 1 day a week and if he didn’t come in for his shift, I would be sad that I didn’t get to see him. For a while, I thought it was just a one-sided thing but one of our other coworkers informed me that that was not the case. So she arranged for all of us to hang out one day and well, 7 years later we are getting married!

Engagement story:

It’s a really simple one I guess. We were driving around one day and he just gave me the ring! Nice, simple and to the point.
