We love that even during a pandemic, Haley and Eric didn’t let the situation stop them from having a beautiful day and sharing their love. This intimate wedding at Studio96 was perfect.

Wedding theme and colours (explain the reason behind your decision):
Well we didn’t really have a theme, but we picked a unique venue so that it wouldn’t need a lot of decorations and the beauty of it could speak for itself. We chose the colours light grey and light blue , they’re colours we both like and they look good together (like me and Eric hehe)
Approximate number of wedding guests:
Originally we were going to have 100 but with Covid we could only have 10.
Your top 3 best moments and why:
1- seeing each other for the first time walking down the isle. After all the build up and nerves we felt so happy to finally be getting married.
2- hearing each other say our vows and promises to one another. And the I DOs ❤️. It was heartwarming to hear so much love and commitment in those vows and being in that moment with each other felt like no one else was in the room.
3- being able to share in these moments with our family and closest friends despite the craziness of the world right now. It meant a lot to us to be able to have our favourite people there to share our most special moments with.
Wedding song, explain choice for song:
We both chose our own songs to walk down the isle to. Eric chose Like Gold by Loud Luxury , he wanted a song that was upbeat but still a love song to ease some of the nerves in the room. I chose to walk down the isle to Turning Page by Sleeping at Last. I actually heard that song in a movie and cried, I had been searching for my song for awhile and when I heard it I could just picture myself walking down the isle to it.
Your top 3 favorite wedding details (cake, flowers, dress, band, etc.) and why:
1- my dress , eric says I was as bright as the sun ❤️. My dress made me feel so beautiful and confident. It was about the 7th dress I had tried on and when I did I didn’t take it off for 45 minutes haha I kept twirling around the store in it.
2- our cake , it was fun to eat a lot of cake samples haha and she did such a good job on it ! It turned out better then we imagined and she matched the colours perfectly.
3- the bouquets, my mom made them so to me that made them extra special. They also complimented the venue and dresses/suits really well
Any advice to those that are planning their wedding?
Do what’s going to make you and your person happiest, it’s your day after all. Don’t get too caught up if things don’t go as planned, trust me you’ll figure it out and find a way. When you’re feeling overwhelmed (this happened a lot for me!!) take a break and take one thing at a time. Last but most importantly , be in the moment and savour everything because it goes by way too quickly !!
With Covid we weren’t able to take a honeymoon (BOOO) but we will make it to Egypt one day 🙂
