We started at Block 1912 for Dione & Bryce’s Edmonton engagement photos, then we headed off to Mill Creek Ravine for some fall fun along with their pup Oakley. We love when clients incorporate their personality into the session – Block 1912 is somewhere that they go together often, and can we talk about the lights there? Perfect! We might just have to go back and grab one of their desserts, they looked amazing.
Below is just a sample of their session to view the entire gallery click here.
From the Couple
How did you meet?
It all started with a click to agreed to a first date, never expecting anything to come of it, we went for it.
Our first date was at The Common in Edmonton, where I would not stop talking so we had to go bowling afterward just so that Bryce could get a word in. After playing several games, which I won, we both ended the date with cheeks sore from laughing and smiling so much.
Tell us your engagement story.
We were in Jasper in June hiking and exploring with our dog Oakley. We went on a day hike around Pyramid Lake and had lunch up on a hillside overlooking Jasper. After discussing our future wedding and how big it was going to be, we got back to the cabin Bryce asked if I would marry him. Now, the ring hadn’t come in yet so we held our little secret close until finally on July 7th it arrived. Bryce and I went on a picnic at Terwilleger Dog Park in Edmonton to celebrate Bryce’s birthday. We picked up sandwiches and drinks from the Italian Center and sat on a bench over looking one if the beautiful ponds that Oakley loved to play and swim in. After lunch, Bryce pulled out that little blue box and asked me to marry him again. We enjoyed the moment for a while longer until we got home and finally told our families and friends. They were so excited and could not wait for the big day!
